BioAge

Plant excellence.

Planting today for a better tomorrow.

An integration of science and agriculture, Biological Agricultural Era  provides agricultural solutions for commercial, urban and subsistence farmers. Biological Agricultural Era is a scientifically driven company that aims to address food insecurity through the integration of propitious innovation into the agricultural sector of South Africa. All technologies instituted at BioAge are organic, specifically formulated to interact with the plant’s metabolism and soil microcosm on a molecular level.

The BioAge Story

Reuben Riley is the founder of BioAge. He is a Biochem PhD student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal who has been able to transfer his patented technology into certified biochem eco-fertilizer products for farmers.

Biological Agricultural Era or Bio-Age was conceptualized on a research trip which allowed its founder to experience the true poverty of South Africa. Despite limited governmental support, and a lack of advanced agricultural technologies or synthetic fertilizers, subsistent farmers continue to farm the plant to produce food. Agriculture has the ability to improve the economy of South Africa and instituting technologies in subsistent agriculture can improve agricultural yields, create employment and reduce poverty nationwide.
