About The Cohort
The inaugural TerraFoundry cohort is officially underway. Following an intensive two-day bootcamp, our selected climate tech and green economy startups have begun a transformative journey of growth and innovation. Participants are now engaged in expert-led masterclasses, hands-on workshops, and personalised one-on-one mentorship with carefully matched industry mentors, providing tailored guidance to address each startup's unique challenges and opportunities. As the programme progresses, founders will refine their business models, strengthen their market readiness, and prepare to showcase their ventures at Demo Day, where they will pitch to investors, ecosystem partners, and key industry stakeholders.

After 12 weeks of intensive learning, growth, and development, the inaugural TerraFoundry programme culminates on Thursday, 27 August 2026, in Cape Town.
Join us as 20 of the Western Cape’s most promising climate-tech and green economy startups take the stage to pitch their ventures to a panel of industry experts and investors, putting everything they have learned into action. With the top five ventures earning a spot on the main stage at the AfricArena Grand Summit.
Demo day is an opportunity to discover the next generation of climate innovation, connect with emerging founders and support solutions shaping a greener future.
